About Us
Gals & Pals began in 2024 when I was asked with some other Cornish GMs to run some intro to Dungeons and Dragons sessions at the Piranha Cafe in Truro for their launch. As part of that collaboration, we were offered the space for anything that we wanted to do. I knew instantly what my request would be.
A one shot for women and femme presenting people.
Having started exploring tabletop roleplaying games when I was living away from Cornwall, with no real friends around me, I was searching for D&D in local gaming shops. Instead of collaborative gaming, I found misogyny, a growing anxiety, and often, just plainly being ignored. So to be able to create a safe space for women and femmes to come and play and meet like minded people, was an opportunity I took with both hands.
The response to the games has been overwhelming, and two years later, we have grown to a team of four, have hosted multiple larger scale events to support local charities, and have been able to watch friendships blossom around games being played.
Each month we run at least two one shots, one in D&D and the other in an alternative TTRPG system. As out team grows, we are able to offer more games, in more locations, and more opportunities to meet new people, and try new systems!
We hope to see you soon!

Meet The Team

Steph (she/they) is the founder of Gals & Pals, having started the group to provide safe space and encourage women and femme presenting people to play TTRPGs.
They've been playing TTRPGs for close to ten years, and GMing for about eight of those. With a background in theatre and education, her style is deeply rooted in the improv motto of "yes and" as well as writing games that give a chance to try something new!
Steph is a GM for the Moonshine Adventure Company and an award nominated actual play performer.
Her favourite systems are currently Daggerheart and Starfinder but they love discovering new systems!
Beyond TTRPGs, Steph is a craft gremlin and lover of books, sci-fi, and winter beaches!

A staunch advocate for shenanigans and tomfoolery, Siobhán (she/they) joined the G&P team at the start of 2026.
She's been running games for 3 years but started her journey of the TTRPG train in 2020! Siobhán loves bringing heavy doses of nostalgia and whimsy into her one shots, with past Gals games inspired by Beatrix Potter and Polly Pocket.
Her favourite TTRPGs to play are Daggerheart, Perils and Princesses, and D&D, but is expecting this list to grown over time!
Outside of the tabletop gaming world, Siobhan loves collecting trinkets, crocheting, horror movies, and extensively researching all things Art History.

Imogen (she/her) loves bringing people together to share an adventure!
Her tables are welcoming and playful, whilst her games dip into folk horror, high fantasy, folklore, cosy vibes, or whatever else happens to take her fancy!
Imogen's favourite TTRPGs include D&D and Daggerheart, but she's always keen to explore new systems - whether at Gals & Pals, playing a home table, or performing in an actual play.
When she's not behind the GM screen or rolling dice, Imogen can be found tending her allotment, sea swimming, or drinking Diet Coke.

Living, working, and breathing tabletop games, Gee (she/they) is an award nominated actual play performer, TTRPG content creator, writer and games master.
Joining a D&D home game back in 2022, they've not stopped since! Gee is maybe Daggerheart's number one fan (no need to fact check) but also has a deep love for horror systems including Trophy Dark and Ten Candles.
Alongside TTRPGs for fun, Gee is also the events co-ordinator for the Moonshine Adventure Company and is the person behind planning and delivering TTRPG holidays and day events across the UK.
Gee is a huge video gamer, with much of their lore starting with playing The Legend of Zelda. This deep love inspires the role play focussed, high immersion and collaborative storytelling that Gee encourages at their tables.
